George Smith has taught science at Brighton High School for the past 25 years – mostly AP Biology and AP Environmental Science. He’s worked with students on various “citizen scientist” projects including testing water quality in Buckland Creek for 20+ years, working on the habitat restoration project adjacent to the high school, and working with the town and school on the Monroe Ave GIGP project.

Mr. Smith has also been on the Brighton town Conservation Board for over 10 years, and has organized the annual Arbor Day tree planting for the past several years.
