Architects have been fascinated by the challenge of creating affordable, well-designed housing for nearly as long as the profession of architecture has been in existence. Town Historian Mary Jo Lanphear and preservation architect Christopher Brandt will explore how two local architects, Herbert C. Williamson and C. Storrs Barrows, endeavored to solve this design problem in Brighton during the 1920s and 1930s.
